After receiving a prescription from their physician, members simply take the prescription, along with their ID Card, to one of more than 53,000 RESTAT Nationwide Network Pharmacies. The ID Card contains the necessary information the pharmacist will need to submit the claim to RESTAT.

The brand name medications listed here are those that have been deemed preferred and were selected based on their ability to meet patient needs at a lower cost.

Vermont Mail Order Pharmacy (VMOP)

Mail order is used for individuals who are on chronic medication or medication that is needed on a continual, year round basis.  VMOP is a mail order prescription service which is cost effective and service oriented.  VMOP pays postage to and from the patient. With its toll free number answered by friendly and knowledgeable personnel, they guarantee delivery within 48 to 72 hours.

VMOP has specialist employee clinics which provide on-site flu vaccinations and on-site preventative screenings, such as high blood pressure, and glucose screening.  VMOP also supplies vitamins and minerals, herbal products, homeopathic and alternative medicine products, diabetes supplies, smoking cessation, home blood pressure devices and much more. 

VMOP has introduced the “Split Incentive Program”.  The Split Incentive Program is an innovative program offered to all employees to save money.  Often expensive brand name drugs are available in many strengths.  Dramatic savings occur when tablets equal to twice the dose are dispensed and one-half of the tablet is taken.  Patients get the correct dose of medication.  Patients and the employer save money!
